General Info
Name: Geddoe
Canon: Suikoden III
Canon Point: post-game, Hugo as Flame Champion route
Appearance: 187 cm (6' 1½") tall, missing his right eye, and is pretty buff. Also a heck of a lot older than he looks, and if you ever see him with his gloves off has a fancy-looking mark on his right hand.
Medical Info: He's human, nothing really out of the ordinary unless you're around him long enough to notice he doesn't age. At all. But that would take years to be noticeable so!
Class: Warrior
Flight: Blue
Abilities
Canon: Detailed here. Essentially he's something of a tank who can also zap things with lightning bolts. :|b His biggest shortcoming, obviously, is that his accuracy isn't always the greatest.
For non-combat abilities he's actually quite intelligent, and has one heck of a poker face.
Warforged: Geddoe is retaining his canon abilities so he gets nothing from his class. As a blue dragonsworn, however, he has the standard abilities granted with that:
Arcane Sight - The world of Azeroth is full of magic, and so it is important for members of the Blue Dragonflight to be able to sense it. Blue Dragonsworn are gifted with the power to see and feel the threads of magic around them, allowing them to harness their power and disturb (or control) its flow. As characters brought into this world were not born of this world, this ability has varying degrees of success. It is, however, very useful in tracking the use of magic born of Azeroth.
Arcane Torrent - Those very same threads of magic can be gathered into a tight pocket and then be released to disturb spellcasting by others. Arcane torrent will restore a magic user's energy for a brief moment in time as well.
Dragonbreath - Raised in the frigid winds of Northrend, blue dragons reserve dominion over the school of ice. Members sworn into the Blue Dragonflight will gain the power to manipulate ice in the form of projectile attacks. It can also be used to freeze objects for a period of time.
OOC Permissions
Backtagging: Always okay! For that matter, if I've dropped a thread you want to continue, by all means feel free to ask me about it.
Threadhopping: If I don't say otherwise, any top or otherwise high-level comments in a thread I generally always consider fair game for anyone to tag in. In an in-depth/long thread a heads up first is appreciated, though.
Fourth Wall: Personally I'm actually pretty flexible on this (especially since countless worlds existing is a part of Geddoe's canon) but given the game's rules you'd definitely want to poke me first if a character would have reason to know of Geddoe's canon as a videogame and/or manga. My one big requirement, however, is that any such recognition must be okay with all of Geddoe's canon-mates as well.
Questionable Subjects: General rule of thumb is, if it's IC, I'm okay with it. :|b Just be courteous and put a warning for anyone reading the thread.
IC Permissions
Kissing/Hugging/Affectionate gestures: Well, you can TRY. Geddoe probably won't care for it though.
Slapping/Spitting at/Minor infractions: If it's IC, go ahead and do it! Geddoe will react accordingly. :)
Injuring/Killing: Definitely talk to me first. I'm generally game for a lot of stuff if there's a reason for it and it'd make for fun RP! Note that if your character ends up spontaneously wanting to try to hurt Geddoe in the course of a thread but you have no preference as to whether they succeed or not I typically don't mind the attempt, just definitely poke me if you have a specific outcome in mind.
Telepathy/Empathy/Mind reading: I'm generally cool with this, just let me know so that I can tell you what you'll pick up, since the presence of Geddoe's rune may come up. :)
Magical/Spiritual senses: If you can sense such things, assume you can notice that Geddoe's a pretty ordinary human.... he just happens to have what's effectively a magical lightning god in his right hand.
Fighting/Magic/Aggressive actions: I am ALWAYS down for this. ALWAYS. Geddoe himself is less enthused about fighting but too bad he'll have to deal with it. Poke me if it's something time-sensitive or that needs to have an ending hashed out quickly, though.
